Psychology That Serves Your Whole School
Specialist psychological assessment, intervention and consultation for schools across Staffordshire and beyond.

What we offer
Schools are at the frontline of children's mental health — and the complexity of the needs they are asked to meet has never been greater. At Abacus Psychology Service, we work in genuine partnership with schools to provide specialist psychological expertise across mainstream, special and alternative education settings. From direct pupil assessment and therapeutic intervention to strategic consultation, supervision and whole-school approaches, our flexible, responsive service is built around your school's unique context, priorities and budget.
Why Schools Need Specialist Psychological Support
The demand on schools to support children's mental health, emotional wellbeing and complex developmental needs continues to grow — while access to specialist support through statutory services has become increasingly difficult. Schools that invest in specialist psychological input see improvements in attendance, behaviour, inclusion and outcomes — and reductions in exclusions, placement breakdowns and SEND tribunal challenges. Our service is designed to add genuine value at every level of a school's SEND and mental health provision.
