Autism Assessment and Support 

Our Psychologists bring specialist knowledge to the assessment and diagnosis of Autism and Intellectual Disability and provide on-going support and intervention so you don't face the future alone. We offer ongoing support to to help you overcome various challenges that arise from living with Autism or Intellectual Disability be that at home, school or college or in employment. We also offer specialist mental health and emotional wellbeing support to people with Autism and Intellectual Disability.  We can give develop comprehensive support plans and address challenging behaviour. We can also offer bespoke packages of support for more specialist settings where their main focus is supporting and caring for people with Autism, learning disabilities or both.

We specialise in providing comprehensive autism assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. Our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to offering personalised care and support throughout the assessment process.

What can we expect? 

You can expect a timely and professions respone to your concerns and an assessment that is fit for your needs. Our assessments are compliant with national guidance and use "Gold Standard" assessments methods. Our clinicians are all registered and trained but they also have extensive experience of working with and assessment of neurodevelopmental conditions.

We have a multi-disciplinary team who have worked extensively in Autism Services in both NHS and independent services.  Our director was Head of Autism Services for South Staffordshire and we have built a team of professionals who work closely with you to get it right. We believe we offer something different in terms of our quality assessments and ongoing support where needed.

We don't... 

Offer "fixed price" assessments. We only charge you for elements of the assessments we complete. The less that's needed the less you pay.

Make you wait to complete the assessment. We aim to start assessments within two weeks and complete them in 4 weeks.

Assume anything, Our assessments are a collaborative process and we take time to understand you or your child's experiences.

We don't charge you for anything that isn't clinically required and thats why we don't have a "fixed" price.

Once we've spoken we can make an appointment and start your support. 

Ongoing support and Intervention

We also offer bespoke support and interventions tailored to an individual's needs. We work with children, young people and adults with complex needs including Autism, ADHD and Intellectual Disability and provide a range of training, consultation or individual therapy to help resolve challenges and finds ways of moving forward with your life. 

We also understand that other institutions including, family, schools, colleges and employers can be crucial in making a difference to the experinces of individuals diagnosed with Autism, ADHD or Intellectual Disability and we can worl closely with them to increase their understanding the individual and their needs and make reasonable adjustments where possible. We also work to support applications for Education Health and Care Plans and has also acted in Tribunals over matters relating to mental health, Autism or ADHD. We work closely with individuals, their families and carers and wider networks including schools and colleges to ensure people with Autism and/or learning disability are supported in the most helpful way.

Our approach is always person-centred and paced to meet an individual's needs recognising that people with suspected autism may often experience high levels of anxiety.
