Art Therapy
A creative route into therapy
Creative, therapeutic support for children, young people and adults who may find it difficult to put their feelings into words.
Art Therapy provides a safe, supportive space to explore emotions, experiences and relationships through art-making and gentle therapeutic conversation. It can be especially helpful when someone feels overwhelmed, shut down, anxious, confused, or unable to explain what is going on for them.
At Abacus Psychology, our art therapy service is trauma-informed, neuroaffirming and tailored to the individual. The focus is not on artistic skill, but on expression, emotional safety, and helping the person make sense of their inner world at their own pace.
How does it help?
Who Art Therapy is for?
