Getting the Right Support in Place
Specialist psychological expertise to help children with SEND access the provision they need.

What we offer
Navigating the SEND system can feel overwhelming — particularly when you know your child needs more support but are not sure how to get it. At Abacus Psychology Service, we provide specialist psychological assessment, consultation and guidance to support children with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities. Whether your child has a diagnosis or is in the process of being assessed, we work closely with families, schools and local authorities to ensure the right support is identified, evidenced and put in place.
Why Specialist SEND Support Makes a Difference
Children with SEND have the right to appropriate, timely support — but the reality is that this support is often hard to access and harder still to maintain. Without specialist psychological input, children's needs can be misunderstood, underestimated or poorly evidenced — meaning they miss out on provision that could transform their experience of education and life. Our role is to provide the expert, independent voice that helps families and professionals understand a child's needs clearly and advocate effectively for the right support.
