Kelly is a highly qualified and dedicated professional with a rich background in childhood education and therapy. She holds an honours degree in Childhood and Education from The Open University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Play Therapy from Play Therapy UK, accredited by Leeds Beckett University. Her commitment to furthering her skills is evident in her extensive training in various therapeutic approaches.


Kelly has trained in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, TraumaPlay Therapy, Sensory Attachment Intervention, and Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Therapy. She is also a qualified Child and Adolescent Trauma Therapist, accredited by the International Association of Trauma Professionals. Additionally, she is an accredited Positive Discipline Parent Educator and has trained as an Emotion Focused Family Therapist, a modality that emphasizes the crucial role of caregivers in the healing process.


Kelly's expertise includes facilitating the Child Attachment and Play Assessment, and she has a wealth of experience supporting autistic children, those with ADHD, specific learning difficulties, and anxiety. She is particularly skilled in working with individuals who have experienced trauma or have attachment difficulties. Her extensive experience extends to supporting Looked After and Adopted Children, as well as those in long-term foster placements.

Kelly also offers training and consultations to fellow therapists, schools, local authorities, and parents on various topics, including trauma and attachment, Polyvagal Theory, and emotional regulation.
