Experience
Sarah Greenhaf is a forensic psychologist with a range of experience in children, young people's and adult services. She has expertise in assessing individuals for neurodevelopmental disorders and learning disabilities, expertise in risk assessment and intervention with forensic populations and those detained under the Mental Health Act, and experience of working with young people and adults with mental health difficulties. Sarah has also acted as an expert witness for the criminal courts.
Sarah is a Chartered and registered Forensic Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. Sarah began working as a Psychologist in the Prison Service, working with psychological risk assessment, parole board assessments and the rehabilitation of offenders.For several years since that time, Sarah has practised in more clinical-focused settings with adults, young people and children. She has worked in inpatient settings on secure psychiatric wards with adults suffering severe and enduring mental health conditions; and in community teams assessing autism, cognitive function, and providing mental health treatment and support to children and young people in the community
Sarah has also held Clinical Lead roles in the Private Sector when working in homes caring for looked after children with trauma histories. Sarah has extensive experience of Expert Witness work in Criminal Court Proceedings.Sarah’s passion lies with the assessment and identification of neurodevelopmental conditions in children and young people. Sarah is trained to use many assessments, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), the Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R), the ADHD Child Evaluation (ACE) and the QB Check (a computer based objective assessment of ADHD symptoms).
